rfXML

At the core of OAT's technology architecture is rfXML - the first XML-based process definition language specifically designed to integrate RFID, Auto-ID devices and sensors with business processes.

rfXML is much more than simple Data Type Definitions (DTD). rfXML is truly a meta language that includes dozens of rfPrimitives that form the building blocks for hundreds of configurable RFID-centric business processes.

Based on OATSystems’ C4 Architecture, rfXML has been in development for nearly a decade and is a distillation of best practices OAT has learned from its RFID deployment experience with the global leaders in Auto-ID technology. rfXML enables organizations to deploy real-time visibility solutions quickly and adapt easily to changing business needs.

OATdesigner includes a library of rfPrimitives accessible from a drag and drop interface, enabling business users to create and deploy process scenarios without custom development.
